Society growth
Every day every year society grow. From hunting society to agrarian
society, after a while become industrial society. Not long after that we’ve
become information society where information can be obtained with minimal
effort and now become super smart society. But we are now have not in 5.0
society, we still in the information society. Different with previous society
that require lot of effort and man power to obtained information,
transportation, and money for living.
So, what generation are you? And what generation is your student?
Many of our teachers or lecturers are X generation or Y
Generation which means they lived traditional life but got influence from
outside called technology, aside form traditional live before they have to catch
the digital life and it is called digital immigrant. Different with us the
students that they lectured we born with technology so we know what gadget is,
what computer is, what laptop is, what internet is and other.
Digital evolution
Now the digital is divided into 3. There are web 1.0, web
2.0, and web 3.0 where web 2.0 is used today. In this web journey web 1.0 is slower
than web 2.0 or 3,0. Why is that? Because in web 1.0 receive information
passively rather than web 2.0 where internet has already strong to reach people
in everywhere.
P21 Educational framework learning outcomes and support systems
There are 4 points. Creativity, media literacy, productivity
and accountability, and the last is environmental literacy. The relation of
these 4 point in teaching is 1. Teacher should be creative using technology to
teach. 2. Use media literacy to create fun learning. 3. Even though its still
viewed hard to collaborate technology and study material, teacher must be
productive and accountability with technology. 4. Environment can create a good
influence for teacher to make and calculate all of the relativity of technology
and teaching.
The seven Cs-21st century lifelong skills.

etc.), cross-cultural understanding (across diverse ethnic, knowledge and
organizational cultures,), communication (crafting messages and using media
effectively.), computing (effectively use electronic information and knowledge
tools.), career and learning self-reliance (managing change, lifelong learning
and career redefinition.).
Digital literacy
Digital literacy is the ability to use digital technology communication
tools, and/or networks to access, manage, integrate, evaluate, and create
information in order to function in a knowledge society. As teacher we should
know digital literacy. There are eight thing that teacher must have it or
master it such as collaboration , creativity, communication and netiquette, finding
and selecting information, digital culture, online safety skills, functional
skills, and critical thinking and evaluation.
Are we digital literate teacher and student?
What digital literacy skills do we have? Why should we master
digital literacy skills? How could we improve our digital competencies?
Based question above of course we have digital literacy but
we have to master it so we can implement it to our teaching. We can improve our
